We specialize in designing label printers for companies that need to make their own product labels as a part of their production process. While other labelling companies serve the label industry, we understand the needs of businesses that package their own products or provide contract packaging services for others. As developers of specialty labelling systems, we believe it’s our job to make sure our customers get the labels they want when they need them. We believe each of you can save time, reduce costs, and make more money with your labels, and we want to show you how. Our salespeople and technical support technicians are directly employed by our company and trained at the factory where we design, manufacture, and test our label printers, labels, and printing inks. This allows us to provide expert support and printer training to our customers so we can help them troubleshoot problems, develop alternatives, and identify and test label materials and inks for their new label printing requirements.

QuickLabel Systems Locations

We engineer, manufacture, sell, and support our label printing products via direct sales and support centers throughout North America and Europe. We make die-cut labels and tags, thermal transfer ribbons, toner, and inkjet inks at our label factories in Rhode Island, USA, Rodgau, Germany, and Brossard, Canada. QuickLabel Systems products are sold via direct sales offices throughout the United States, Canada, France, Germany, and the UK. In the rest of the world, QuickLabel products are sold by a select group of independent, factory-trained, authorized resellers.

We fulfill that promise by maintaining a rigorous Total Quality Management system and adhering to ISO 9001 procedures, by directly-employing our technicians and salespeople and training them at our factory, and by providing industry-leading digital label printers and factory-direct custom-printed labels, blank labels, and thermal transfer ribbons at good quality and good prices.

Our History:

In 1994, Astro-Med, Inc introduced the world’s first digital colour label printer intended for use by manufacturers, processors, and retailers who would now be able to print their own full-colour labels for their foods, beverages, chemicals, cosmetics, dietary supplements, medical devices, and other products.

Under the QuickLabel Systems brand name, we led the way with research and development into emerging digital printing technology and graphics software that would allow us to reduce the size of a label press and develop user-friendly variable information label printing systems that could produce affordable, custom labels in short-run batches.

We saw the opportunity to offer end-user manufacturers a tool to print their own affordable custom labels just-in-time, in short-run batches, to make more money by printing private label and contract packaging labels, and to cut costs by avoiding unnecessary purchases of large quantities of pre-printed labels and reducing inventories of printed labels. At the time, this was perceived as a major challenge to the conventional wisdom and the traditional business model of the label printing industry.

Our innovation was readily accepted when we brought it to market, and making labels in-house has become a normal part of a manufacturers’ in-house packaging production process. Today, we continue to lead the market we created with a full line of in-house, full-colour digital label printers, labels and inks, and custom label printing services.
